Back of a group of volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeline of our organization. Without your generosity to aid in the constant progress of the Danville Area Soccer Association, we would not be able to sustain the wonderful program that was created nearly 4 decades ago. We would first like to thank all of you who participate, and we look forward to working with you all again this coming season.

Please consider volunteering some of your time to help us create a lasting and memorable program for our community's youth. Below are a list of some of the various opportunities we provide. If you are able, please also consider an "in-kind" donation to the organization. All proceeds to our organization come straight back to the functions of the organization and help keep the cost of participation as low as possible. Every gift of $60 ($45 in the spring) or more allows us to provide a scholarship to a child in need, so that they are able to play free of charge.

ways you can volunteer:

Coaching

All of our Rec-League coaches are volunteers. If you would like to coach please fill out a volunteer form on our registration site. Resources for coaches can be found on our resource page. Assistance and instruction can be provided upon request.

Concessions

Our concession are currently our only source of fundraising. Volunteers aid in the Saturday operations of the concessions. We ask that volunteers work in 2 hour shifts, as assigned by our Director of Concession.

Referee

If you have experience with the game of soccer, please consider volunteering to referee in the fall. Each fall season we have hundreds of games that need refereed. Training is provided.

Work Days

Two weekends assigned before the beginning of each season are set aside for cleanup and setup of the Complex. All who are able are asked to attend and help prepare our facilities for the upcoming season.

Field Painting

Each week during the season, every field requires repainting. Please consider adopting a field for painting. Painters, paint, and instruction is provided.
